AUTHENTICATED

This vintage, very rare layering slip dress is a highly collectible piece produced more than ten years ago.  It was hand-crafted on Robin Brown’s Texas farm before Magnolia Pearl scaled its operations.  Part of the “Made On The Farm Love Collection”, this artisanal garment epitomizes the eclectic, bohemian, antique designs from the brand’s early days.

Featured in a lovely light blue color, this is a 3/4-length sleeve slip dress made of a sheer satin cotton blend fabric.  The round neckline has three small buttons and the hemline is accented with a ruffle. A Magnolia Pearl Love label that features a hummingbird is sewn on the back of the dress.

NEW WITHOUT TAGS!  NEVER WORN!

This slip dress was purchased directly from Robin. I’m not sure the very early MP pieces even came with tags.  IT HAS DEFINITELY NEVER BEEN WORN!  

Note 1:  I did not iron the slip dress for my pictures.  You can watch YouTube videos of Robin wearing her early designs like this piece and see that it is not necessarily meant to be ironed.  In addition, you can view how she layers the slip dress with other vintage pieces to create a beautiful, ethereal look!  😇

Note 2:  There are no production pictures of this layering slip dress.  As far as my research indicates, there are no on-line pictures or sales of it either.
